Ingredients
- 4 slices of thick-cut bacon
- 4 large eggs
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh chives, chopped (optional)
- 2 slices of whole-grain toast (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat to cook the bacon. Add the bacon and cook until crispy, turning occasionally (about 7-8 minutes). Place the bacon on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb the excess grease.
- Prepare the Eggs: In the same skillet, crack the eggs and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Fry the eggs sunny-side up, or flip them for over-easy, depending on your preference.
- Serve: Place the bacon and eggs on a plate. Sprinkle with chopped chives, and serve with toast on the side.
