EAGLE, IDAHO — Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. is constructing a brand new manufacturing facility in Mar Del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina, to develop its french fry processing capability.
The $240 million development undertaking comes after the corporate raised its stake in Lamb Weston Alimentos Modernos SA, a three way partnership with Sociedad Comercial del Plata in Argentina, growing to 90% from 50%.

The brand new facility is predicted so as to add 250 new jobs and needs to be accomplished in 2024. The elevated manufacturing capability will add to the 70,000 tonnes of completed items produced within the three way partnership’s current facility in Munro, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
