Popcornopolis teams with Takis on new product

LOS ANGELES — Two Grupo Bimbo SAB de CV snack manufacturers have partnered to create a brand new popcorn providing.

Prepared-to-eat popcorn model Popcornopolis and snacks maker Takis have launched Popcornopolis Takis Fuego, a popcorn that includes a mix of sizzling chili pepper and lime dusted throughout non-GMO corn. The popcorn shall be packaged in Popcornopolis’ cones and have purple and purple branding.

Grupo Bimbo entered the popcorn class in October 2021 through the acquisition of Popcornopolis from non-public fairness agency NexPhase Capital, LP.
